Seasons & rehearsals
When "in season," SAYC's normal rehearsal time is Sunday afternoons from 4:10 pm to 5:40 pm. Rehearsals are held in Maresh Hall at 15315 Huebner Road in San Antonio, 78248. Most Sundays we also have a FREE dinner for SAYC singers after rehearsal. We also have nice breaks between each season so none of us will become burned out by too much intensity over too long a period of time. Students participating in SAYC are free to sit out seasons if a particular stretch of time is too busy for you (school, sports, band, drama, dance team, swimming, etc.) to participate.
How can I join SAYC?
If you are currently in grades 7 through 12, then you are age-eligible to become a part of SAYC. In order to join the Chorale, here's what you need to do:

1) Call, text, or email

Simply tell Mrs. Tina or Mrs. Ashley you are interested in joining SAYC. They will take you through the next steps.
2) Once you have made contact with Mrs. Tina or
Mrs. Ashley, you will then be invited to come to rehearsal, Sundays at 4pm ... arriving at 3:45 the first time to complete paperwork.
3) Fill out some simple paperwork, if you have not already done so online.

4) You are encouraged to bring your friends to participate in SAYC. Anyone who likes to sing and would enjoy making music in a safe, welcoming environment is encouraged to come check us out or to even join SAYC the first time they visit. We have discovered that the teamwork required for music-making is more fun when we are surrounded by many friends with whom to share the experience!
